I really appreciate how you factor in how varnish will make something look. A lot of good painters don't varnish their competition minis so the topic never even comes up.

I am so glad that you are making KZbin content. I love the long form/real time painting style. Just by watching you paint, and explain as it unfolds is so much better than the typical jump cuts and rapid explanation that is all over youtube. Great paintjob, and very informative video!👍 You're addressing a few points I've had trouble wrapping my shoddy little mind around (like the transitional zone between areas of lighting) in a very concise manner, thanks for that. Really great video. Amazing artists using washes makes me feel a bit better. For the paintjob, the light sources were basically the only things that added color to the model. Had his skin and hair been some different color (red, for example), would you have painted the red mids, shadows and highlights and then added the osl, or tried to infuse the osl into the highlight from the beginning? Thanks!

Love these videos and to see your process. What I am curious about, on your palette the paint always seems to be nice puddle. Is that because you water down the paints on your palette already? Edit; nvm, was to early with my comment into the video xD

Awesome to see you on KZbin. Question. What difference is there doing the OSL at the start rather than painting the figure and then airbrushing some OSL afterwards? Wouldn't it be easier to paint first then OSL?

Hey mate, wondering how you would transfer this sort of thing over to some crypt flayers, that have far larger wings and smooth less textured chucks of skin surfaces. I've been really struggling

I see that you are holding the model with your bare hand. Do you ever find the paint rubbing off when you do this?

It's dfunny that vargskyr is basically "wolf Yoghurt" in Swedish
