Thank you for watching. I am really glad that you were able to find my video useful. I have been trying to find ways to show that painting can be simple. I am glad that I appear to be succeeding in that regard.

Really great video, glad to find this before painting my custodes! I have a question, a lot of people complained about the retributor gold primer like its not the same as pot version or it came out a spray in an awful way or it had bad coverage. You also used the primer and your figure is 10/10. Do you have some tips for this primer?

any paint that comes in a spray can will have variation in its performance. I have found that the best results with this paint require many very thin coats in a warm dry environment. if you put a thick coat on with this paint it will cure weird and will actually prevent paint from sticking tot he model. If you prime in a place where it is too hot the particles of the paint will dry mid air and you will get a gross grainy texture on your model. I wouldn't say the paint is different from the pot version. There have been cases where I didn't get enough coverage with the primer so I just painted those spots with the normal paint and after the shade was in place you couldn't tell the difference.

The spray is definitely different. I use it as a primer then repaint the whole model with a thinned coat of pot retributor armour. Not too thin. I prefer khorn Red as the Cape personally, and liberator gold on any eagles. Using stormhost silver to highlight. Mephiston red plume and eyes. Apart from that, no real difference
