Your Etsy store and your artistry inspire me the most. I’ve watched a LOT of different “dotters” and it seems you are the only one that shares information about paint, cleaning tools, and different brands, etc. I haven’t seen anyone work with puffy dotsYou also have a great personality. ❤️

I like puffy dots and I cannot lie 😂 Thanks for watching my videos. I remember when I first learned how to dot paint from Kristin Uhrig on KZbin and I binge watched all her videos. I aspire to be half as good as her half of the time. I want to help other artists like she helped me 💕

Boo, Another Rachel I watch is " Rachel Rocks Canada." And a hint from someone in a rock painting group is to use styrofoam with toothpicks in it to lift your work up while the resin dries on it. It made sense but I haven't used resin yet or started dotting either. Although I do dot in my dreams

I LOVE RACHELS ROCKS! She’s amazing! I just finished her butterfly flower video. I would end up resining the toothpicks to the darn thing 😂

I'm most inspired by you, Lydia May, and Rachel rocks Canada. I just got my stencils from you!! So I'm doing some watching to get inspired and quell the nerves, lol. I also have some stencils on order from Lydia May. I try to buy from artists that inspire me as a way to support them for teaching me so much. 🥰

Yes! Thank you for helping to support us artists! It really means a lot when our viewers get inspired by our videos. It's not easy to record, edit and share these videos so when we hear positive feedback it INSPIRES US to create more. It's feedback loop ❤️✨ Thanks so much for watching!

Beautiful! I’ve been dotting for a little over a month now and found your channel with its treasure trove of teaching videos. Thank you!!! I love how you said d in part one of this that it doesn’t have to be perfect. Great advise! I tried to do one on my own…mandala mishmash results! 😂😂 I’ll stick with copying and learning from making pre-done mandalas first! Step by step!

Haha yeah I’ve never painted a perfect painting but it’s the feeling of painting that I treasure the most. Have fun making your art 😊❤️

Simply amazing I love your commentary you have such and then caring and funny personality. I especially appreciate all the tips and tricks you give as well as the lessons you’ve learned in the mistakes you’ve made along the way. I vote for number six on the Mandala Walla although it’s too late I still vote for a number six I got to get my opinion heard LOL. Do you plan on putting out any tutorials four getting started what you really need what you recommend to mix paints do you carry those products and mixing mediums?
@TheDottingCenter4 жыл бұрын
#6 on the Mandala Walla - got it :) I have some beginner tutorials, but more are on the way. I don't carry any paint or mediums in my shop, but I tend to use the same paints and mediums over and over so if you pick a video and check the descriptions it's all listed there. I have an amazing beginner dotting kit in my shop. Check it out here: thedottingcenter.com/product/dot-mandala-painting-kit-dotting-tools-and-stencils-to-get-started-dotting/

where do you get the circle-discs? Also what paint use for the base coat? Looks like it's easier to make lines with white chalk than on my glossy black base coat.
@TheDottingCenter3 жыл бұрын
The circle discs can be found on Amazon or at art supply stores. I always use chalk paint for base coats so the chalk pencils have a gritty surface so they can show up. Thanks for watching : )

I use resin a lot and I have a room dedicated to it. I I accidentally left the door open while checking on a piece that I was doing and my dog got in and stepped in wet resin. I yelled, he ran, and I was scrubbing floors and my poor dog has one hard foot! It was a mess!
