Well this was really helpful. I do not know how to deal with the tacky finish. Thank you so much

Just an FYI for the future if you use a vinyl spray clear coat you can avoid tackiness all together most clear coat are not made for vinyl and normally do not bind which is why you end up with that takanot it's just easier to use a vinyl clear coat to avoid the tackiness and it appears a lot better to the vinyl

The SEM clear coat works really well. You are absolutely right.

So, on the Website they wrote the preparer is not for faux leather - what else could I use for preparing my faux leather shoes?

Do I need to buff out the wax with the brush ? Cause I painted some shoes with walk on red angelus paint and it is tacky so I want to make sure I don’t ruin them

How long in between coats should I let the paint dry? And how long should I leave the final coat on before removing the stencil? Also, what mm needle are you using for this project?

Thanks for all the videos! Do you have any tips for removing paint from unwanted areas of leather? My guess is something to do with deglazer/acetone but I’ve been struggling while trying to complete the cleaning of my custom.
@dondeestalaleche76524 жыл бұрын
just use acetone to get as much off as possible and if there is still a little bit left just use the same color paint to go over it If you wipe within the first 5 seconds the paint won't have time to set

Donde Esta La Leche? Thanks! I’m just struggling with the removal of the paint from tight corners on my custom shoes, I didn’t do as good of a job taping them as I’d hoped
@dondeestalaleche76524 жыл бұрын
@@samiabul-khoudoud7709 if you use a toothpick you can usually scratch the paint off

You can use whatever you prepped the leather with, whether it was our deglazer or acetone.

I am confused, if you need to prep shoes to take the finisher off, why can he add finisher before stencil and painting? Thanks.
@AngelusBrand2 жыл бұрын
You are taking off the FACTORY finish. Which in most cases is a silicone, or resin. The Finisher that we carry is water based. So this is fine. It is not a heavy product.

Do you need to add 2-thing on the finishers
@jtbourdeau224 жыл бұрын
no, they're already airbrush ready
@AngelusBrand4 жыл бұрын
No 2-thin is not necessary for the finishers. The finisher come very thin already.
