Man, its great to see your progress over the years. You had a solid start but you are leagues better now. And your terrain is next level.

Hahaha! Thank you kindly chaosincarna! Yeah I sort of cringe a bit when I see these old videos but I feel like it's important to remember where you come from! 👍😅

Pro tip on color theory coming from a 12 year experience illustrator: colors that are analog to each others are always less eye catching than opposite colors in the color wheel. Love your work bu the way

Thank you for the tip Ivar Andrés Osorio! I think this one is my first miniature I ever painted in front of the camera! Color theory is super interesting for me and since then I have tried to learn more about color harmonies specifically! Thanks again! 👍😊

Good day. Thank you for the video. I am currently working on my flesh golem. Did you use the purple wash to fill in the stitches before you painted the metal staples (at 7:50 of the video, there was an editing skip). Thanks a lot & that was an absolutely amazing job on the golem. I LOVED all the metal detail.

Hey! As far as I can remember, I think I used the purple wash in the wounds and sort of adjacent to them. The idea was to show "bruised" flesh. I think I did some on the stiches as well yeah!

@@DevsDice - Thanks. I look forward to watching some of your other mini painting videos, as I am back into the hobby after a hiatus of 25+ years.

Yeah sometimes I get lucky! Haha! Thanks! Yeah it feels like this might be a common "problem" among minipainters/RPG players :D Thanks for the sub btw!

Let me know when you run out of boxes. Then you can paint my shame.

Not sure I will ever run out of them boxes :) Not sure what painting your shame exactly entails but sure man! :D
