How to Paint a Hand

We'll go trough a process of painting a hand together.
Here are the oil paints that I was using:
titanium white
yellow ochre
cadmium red
burnt umber
ivory black

Pallet she uses 1:57 Light = white + yellow + red Medium or dark = yellow + red + burnt umber Darkest = Yellow + Red + burnt umber No white 👆🏽

I would have liked, very much, to have seen the model you are using. I find it extremely helpful to view the model and then the painting and observe them both while the painting is in progress.

Not at all! I was painting with watercolors and gouache for years before I first tried oils. The painting principles are the same. Oils just give you more time to change everything 😄 I should do a video with basics of oil painting!

Acrylics dry fast, oil paint is much better cause it lasts for days without draying, so it becomes more easy to control the painting and how much time you wanna spend on it or even if you need more time for details, but overall I think if you're a fast painter acrylics might work but, in my own personal opinion I wouldn't recommend it.💛
