@Peer_Review7 жыл бұрын
Great video! Short note though: Dry brushing generally refers to the application of paint using a dry brush with some small amount paint still on it rather than blending with a clean brush. This creates scratchy marks and can be used in scumbling, making a broken layer of paint over and existing one.
@sandytrominski31477 жыл бұрын
HeavenlyBlade106 I think you mean in watercolors, dry brushing is a technique. in oils it's just a blending,blurring of hard edges
@Peer_Review7 жыл бұрын
Nah I'm pretty sure that blurring is blurring and dry brushing is dry brushing, no matter what painting medium we're talking about. The fact is that the technique exists in all the paint I've used, most notably acrylics, so there's no reason that there wouldn't be a name for it.

would the dry brush work the same with acrylic ? since it drys faster ,and if it dosint work what can i do to get that smooth look ?
@meganriehl30057 жыл бұрын
aogaret awad it works with any kinda paint so long as the paint hasn't dried yet ! (so basically it could work with acryllic you just gotta work real quick fast)
@purple-np3np7 жыл бұрын
You can add paint thinners/solvents to acrylic, which makes it dry slower, or add water which will give a more watercoloury look but will blend easier. Oil is probably a better medium for smooth realistic paintings, but i think using acrylic to make layered, kind of patchy paintings looks really cool too.
@emmaam32946 жыл бұрын
I think with acrylics, I would be a lot harder and would have to be done straight after you put it on hehe

@jakubvotruba54557 жыл бұрын
First: Both are great! Second: you have right that your picture of nose is more realistic's but IT'S ONLY "WAY" HOW ARTIST WILL DRAW A PICTURE... IN PAST OF TIME AT PICASO TO REMBRANT AND OTHER ARTIST WAS CHANGE A WAY ... "HOW WE CAN DRAW " " WHAT IS THE MOST REALISTIC AND WHAT NO" ? "CAN IT BE BETTER"? THIRD: YOUR PICTURES ARE DEFINITLY TO WAY Realistic, Its absolutly And we cant say nothing ! BUT IT'S STUPID, STUPID WRITE HEAD ARTICLES WHAT WE DO'S AND DON'TS IT CAN BE ONLY FOR RECOMMEND FOR OTHER PEOPLE, BUT IT IS ONLY UP WHAT WE CHOOSE A WAY OF DRAWING AND ART. THNX
