Great ideas on how to build a hibiscus. Adding colors side b side, then running the feather (I use a toothpick) through to create curved ines really defines the shape and gives it dimension. The hummingbird is adorable. I love how she is full of movement. Thank you.

I loved the leaves on the Hibiscus....I've learned so much from you about mixing blues and Quin Gold for that lovely leaf color. The Hibiscus starts to glow as you deepen the center color....your instincts about color are so right on....thanks again Diane....love the Tip jar too.

Thanks, Diane. You’ve painted another pretty one. But it’s the third time you do painted it, and that’s a good reminder that practice makes perfect. It does look pretty perfect to me! A question, what was the third green that you used? Also, I did go on your web site, but I couldn’t figure out how to get the download for a sketch.
