Hi everyone, thanks for watching this acrylic painting tutorial of: “Mountain Magic”
You’ll need the following colours and brushes for this painting tutorial
Colours:
Titanium white
Dioxazine or prism violet/purple
Neon yellow cool (By Holbein)
Neon yellow warm/ (optional )
Neon orange
Neon rose
Cobalt blue
Phthalo blue
Turquoise (bright aqua green by Liquitex basics)
Brushes:
#50 filbert
#smaller filberts for trees
#10 flat
#2 round
Canvas size
16x20” prepped with 1 coat of gesso

Sorry the filberts are not on Amazon, you can find them at Michaels though😉 instead of neon rose: hot pink and a little magenta

That flower.. Chamaenerion angustifolium is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the willowherb family Onagraceae. It is known in North America as fireweed, in some parts of Canada as great willowherb, in Britain and Ireland as rosebay willowherb. Wikipedia

Did you know??? Fireweed is an herb. The parts of the plant that grow above ground are used to make medicine. Fireweed is used for pain and swelling (inflammation), fevers, tumors, wounds, and enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). It is also used as an astringent and as a tonic.Jun 11, 2021

Wow! This reminds me of the song, Somewhere over the Rainbow, sung by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz 1936 🌈 Have you seen it? This is exactly what I saw when I reached Reflection lake of Fairy Meadows in the north of Pakistan. With a bit more clouds though. Is there a place like this in Canada?
