Dude, first you impress me with Opeth, and a metal guitar background, and now you go and wear a Monero hat! Haha joining your Patreon keeps moving up my priority list. I only started painting one year ago but have started taking it very seriously and recently switched from acrylics to oils. I now paint 8+ hours a day so I’ll see you on Patreon sooner than later. 😄

Thanks Conner, you are the first person to spot my Monero hat....subtly putting out there the concept of sound, fungible, private currency. So awesome you have gotten into painting and I remember years ago when I switched from acrylics to oils, it was a game changer. Thanks for watching 😊

Samuel, Great painting How long, about, does it take to dry the second layer so you can go in to do the detail? Thanks
@SamuelEarpArtist Жыл бұрын
Thanks John, as I use Liquin Original to thin the paint it is usually touch dry the next day, but I normally leave it a couple of days between each layer 😀

Beautiful work. (Are BR paints brushable straight from the tube, without any medium?)
@SamuelEarpArtist2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes you could definitely use Blue Ridge oils straight from the tube, the paint flows nicely. Blue Ridge Oils are the best paints I have ever used 😊

Awesome video!! What Rosemary brushes did you use?
@SamuelEarpArtist2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I mainly use flats and filberts from their 'Classic' range and also daggers and synthetic rounds from the 'Ivory' range 😊

"Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does." ― Margaret Atwood, The Penelopiad

Please make your intro music as loud as your vocals so we don't turn up the volume and then get blasted.... thanks
@SamuelEarpArtist2 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that, I try and keep the background music low so it's not overbearing in the video. I'll try and make the audio better, thanks for the feedback 😊
