I really enjoyed this tutorial and have painted it twice. There’s lots to learn and I love the way you have captured the light!

I've enjoyed and benefited from so many of your videos, Paul. This one may have been the most powerful lessons, as it was so instructive to follow your progress throughout the entire project and to see how you handled setback and disappointment to create, in the end, a very beautiful piece of art. As we say in North America, You're the Man!

Bravo pour cette autocritique, elle montre qu'il faut persévérer et même refaire le travail, c'est vrai que les rochers manquaient terriblement de lumière. Vous nous montrez que même les meilleurs peuvent se tromper. Merci et encore félicitations

Ohh yay!! I was so wanting to see & actually try to paint the scenery from that last video, so this video is just the ticket for me to paint this weekend! Thanks for sharing this wonderful fun painting tutorial with us. Always enjoying your videos & the countryside journeys! Have a great weekend!

There comes a time when you have to put the photo aside and just make the painting look good. Nice video, enjoyed watching. Envious of your location there.

So glad you didn't give up with this painting Paul, this is a great lesson on how to transform mistakes into a worthy painting. Adding the blue to the water, the darks and lights to the rocks really were the turning points for this. You've proved that to never give up is the best lesson of all. Lobo, what can I say, my heart melts at the way he communicates with you, such an adorable boy x
