@@WildCreates I lost my way. It was my 17th painting, and quite frankly, my best one to date, but it still needs a lot of work. I have no artistic ability whatsoever, so I can't seem to develope any type of shape on the mountain walls. My mountains are so boring dispite having watched your 2 mountain tutorials. I will continue on, because I do see improvement be it ever so slightly. I await my break through. Trying hard here in Green Bay Wisconsin.

Really awesome video. An idea for a painting would be one, where you only use the 5 colors you said to buy in your beginner video. I think it would be awesome to get a time lapse version of that first, and then later a video like this where you go into deeper details.

Hi Wild, I’m working on this painting over the course of a few days. If the canvas begins to dry at the bottom, can I put a thin coat of linseed oil to facilitate the flow?
@WildCreates2 жыл бұрын
100% you can. Just make sure to start with a little linseed and test your base color on it. This way you can see if you need to wipe a little off or add a little more 👍

Hey Wild, i've been painting for a while now and I'm starting to get concerned about the fumes with thinner. I've been using gamsol for the past 2 years and never thought anything of it but I've been meaning to make a switch for a while. Can you do a video on different things to clean your brushes while painting. I use master's brush cleaner when I'm done but I need the brushes cleaned throughout the painting for different colors. I've seen soooo many different videos of cleaning brushes with different oils and I feel like everyone has their own "BEST" way to clean their brushes. Can you compare all the different cleaning oils if possible: baby oil, walnut oil, safflower oil, linseed oil, etc., compared to odorless mineral spirits/thinner. Thanks Wild, you're the best
@WildCreates3 жыл бұрын
I will see what I can do in a future video for ya. May I suggest... if you are worried about fumes and cleaners.... why not try water soluble or mixable oil paints? This way you can move away from thinners.
@JaykT123 жыл бұрын
@@WildCreates Yes i've seen the water soluble mixable oil paints but I have such a big stockpile of oil paint that I have this NEED to use xD. When I first started, I actually bought 3 Bob Ross Master Kits with bob ross paint , and a Kevin Hill Set of brushes and 1980 paints.
