I was just about to convert my first car. I've played Gaslands twice, once in 2019 then again at GenCon 2023. Then I picked up the rules. I'm running a game in a few weeks. I've painted miniatures for decades, but this is going to be my first foray into Gaslands. Thanks for sharing your techniques.

Hey, you just need a proper drill bit made for metal. Those eat through the rivets easy.

#50 bit for the post and a 5/32 bit for the button head !! Then 2/56 tap that's what I use !!

Nice job! Where the original painjob come off, you get little deeper areas. I think there you need apply rust and metal color to get more realistic effect.

For stripping the paint, give Biostrip20 a go. I've found just dumping the car in it and leaving it for a couple of hours gets about 99% of the paint off, and a little scraping in the recessed with a hobby knife or similar should get the remainder

I would’ve put the spikes in the back and the pipes in the front, it’s unrealistic to have header pipes coming off the BACK of the car…… still works just looks like a really weird unethical exhaust.
