You did many guides, but this is one of the best ever, in terms of techniques. I will use the same aproach when painting my Warcry warbands

Pretty good tutorial. I was able to follow this without volume and still understand. Great work showing the completed steps before moving on to the next step.

This is the first time in Official painting guide video that I saw they left some excess paint on model (Pteraxii) during the painting process (normally they just show where to paint and skip to the next step cleanly) Maybe this is a confirmation that Pteraxii is one of the hardest to paint in AdMech army (as I also struggle even sub-assembly by seperate wingsbody apart)

So uhhh did you prime it before applying lead belcher? What did you prime with?

Just started painting again . Things sure have changed in the 20 ish years since I last attempted 🫣🫣🫣 One quick question , about the nuln oil . Is it used straight from the pot or watered down ??? I’ve now added this combat patrol to my Christmas list. Now must remember to leave it on the wife’s desk 😁😁😁

As with all painting techniques there is a lot of personal preference and you should do what works best for the effect you want to achieve, but it's acceptable to use a Shade straight from the pot without thinning or watering down. If you do thin your Nuln Oil, you may wish to use Lahmian Medium. We hope Da Red Gobbo gets your Grotsmas list!

When priming the sterilizers did you put masking tape on the flight stand or did you have them primed seperate?
@officialwarhammer Жыл бұрын
Primed separately in this case.

What paints do i need to thin down?
@godgonk7660 Жыл бұрын
And what paints do i use medium on ( please please please help me)
@donk896113 күн бұрын
Probably very late, but thin any/all layer or base paint. Contrast paints and oils come thinner out of the pot. I haven’t even touched painting yet, I intend to in a few hours, but I’ve watched maybe 50 hours of guides so take this with a lil grain of salt.
