I will say, having been blessed by being invited to play on the channel a few times in the past as a guest, that being in a battle report is a totally incredibly challenging experience! Your not just playing a game, but your pausing, your having to move models twice or sometimes more for various camera shots, there's bright lights, your having to talk out what's going on, your being mindful of the cameras, AND ON TOP OF THAT YOUR playing a game and having amazing fun with the other person, and anyone else in the studio so I have a lot of compassion for ANYONE who does appear in bat reps and forget rules, especially these lads! most of us have a solid luxury of ONLY playing 1-2 armies, these guys are playing not only all kinds of armies, but all kinds of games, and I think it's great they even remember their own names, and each other's names, let alone rules! HAVING SAID THAT JUSTICE FOR TAK!! We want a rematch! AND I will also say that I have had the pleasure of playing Nick at events, and he is a bloody good player! His Tau famously beat my Imperial Knights at a tournament, putting a crushing end to my unbeaten streak at events! His Rohan have also done amazing things on the tabletops of Middle Earth at events too Vengeance will be mine one day!

TBH I'm surprised you guys don't screw up rules more when the game has SO many plates to spin constantly. It's like MTG in that way... you basically can't find a magic channel that doesn't make huge misplays at least once in a while so this was all very reasonable as far as screwups go. I have had good games with Cohort Cybernetica, Conqueror Imperative works wonders with the robots. Advance and flamer, then hit with the twin fists on 3+ with an extra AP from the following vanguard. Also, using the protocols from the data-smiths is important, +2 attacks to ranged or melee is huge.

Really really enjoyed this one, I love all of your videos ofc, but I love that you guys tend to show love and do battle reports with lesser played factions like Kroot and Deathwatch as there is usually so little content for them online (I think this is one of 3 kroot battle reports, 2 of which are from you guys). ofc I know you guys can't just play the same armies all the time and I love the variance you guys bring in terms of match ups, but would LOVE to see more Kroot in the future! Great Pain jobs BTW to Tak and the team too, the Admech look great ^-^ (And on the rules mis-hap, it happens, especially with stuff like the infiltrate when there's so many units all with similar but not identical keywords, and the broadsides where their abilities have changed through editions, if anything, showing that and being so transparent fosters a better community attitude to mistakes and accountability.)

Ahhhh, yes, while normal Broadside Battlesuits don't have Twinlinked, Rozgriz is a Kroot, possibly the only Kroot Battlesuit pilot. And he has made some, ahem, modifications to his personal machine. Kroot feel like I wish Genestealer Kult played, lots of mobility, reinforcements for command points instead of at the whim of dice, and coordination tactics.

I love Tau and specifically love those good ol' hammerhead railguns. They got a delicious re-roll and a heavy weapon. They are great AT. That said, broadsides are great as well but in my experience, railheads do better lol.

My intent is to have a tough unit that can survive to do secondaries that require that unit to survive a turn. Or, do actions that are out in the open. With their high toughness my hope is that they can also stuff up my opponent by getting into combat and not being run over. I know they are a lot of points to do that, but I will gladly pay those points for a reliable secondary or primary scoring unit.
