All you need is an Apple Pencil compatible iPad, a stylus (Apple Pencil Recommended), and the free drawing program Autodesk Sketchbook. No Force Skills Needed! I will show you, in a step by step process, how to paint the Baby Yoda Character from the Disney+ TV series, The Mandalorian. A very basic knowledge of drawing/painting is recommended, but not required. No digital experience needed. This series is aimed at those who have always wanted to learn to paint digitally, but couldn’t until now, thanks to the new accessibility and affordability of today’s technology.
I provide for you here, two resources: The Photo Image (which, after downloading, can be moved to your Apple Photos to be used as a photo reference), and The Simple Line Art Sketch (with transparent background) that I have provided as a guide, to help you ‘See’ the shapes that we will be painting. IMPORTANT: After downloading the sketch to your iCloud, Google, or Dropbox Drive, leave it there. Do not move it to your Apple Photos. Photos adds a white background, and you don’t want that.
So… you can waste time with your friends at Tashi Station later…Let’s Do This!
