Hi, WS-400 BASE (Blue cap) I predominantly designed for wet-on-wet basecoat applications. LS-400 BASE (Green Cap) is designed for both water-borne and solvent-based basecoat applications! I want to get the ls400 ws400 and the ws400 obs and hd. I also want to get different nozzle sizes needle sizes, switch bezels and colored knobs. Can you make a video explaining this? Whan fits, since no one can tell me about the series 2. And i hope the chrome on the digital Italian 2023 is better than the last edition.

Hi, thank you for commenting - Series 2 parts are interchangeable. Series 1 and Series 2 are not compatible. Series 2 all have tailored setups, we suggest looking at our recommendation charts to find the best match for the paint system you are using. What are the differences between the new series 2 LS400 and WS400 OBS for waterbourne basecoat. I felt like the old Ws400 series 1 OBS was less suited for the job compared too the ls400 for base , is this the same case for series 2?

Hi, so typically LS-400 and WS-400 BASE are used for very different paint technologies. Some systems prefer LS-400 and some prefer WS-400 BASE. So to answer your question neither is better or worse, it depends on the set up you need for the product you are working with. So depending on the material you are using - For most clearcoats/lacquer we are almost always going to recommend Series 2 WS-400 Clear! Depending on your budget there will be a gun that fits your needs, we recommend discussing this with your local sales branch. Thanks

Between Wet, Immediate, and Drop Coats there is a flash-off between 3-5 minutes! Before the clear coat stage, Allow for a minimum of 15 minutes of final flash-off time at 20°C before clearcoat application!

I have both now. 2 WS & 2 LS - The series looks and feels smoother.... You can dial in your series 1 to nearly identical pattern - but then turn it out to a wider "I pattern" , when you want it to.... Series 2 definitely is more Comfortable
