@ryanneilan32232 жыл бұрын
@@comradeanthony4120 Must be. I have paper towel in a little plastic tupperware. Wet the towel, let the water move around, then tip all the water out, let it all drain, then the baking paper over the top. Will see about adjusting it.
@AverageBritishNerd11382 жыл бұрын
@@ryanneilan3223 As a different idea, I used one of the thin cleaning sponge cloths you can get for mine (I forget the actual name for them), and put it in the lid of the tupperware, as it's just thick enough that the baking parchment is level with the lip, so no reaching into the tupperware to get the paint. I found that the damp sponge holds water for longer and doesn't need to be replaced as often as paper towel.

Always loved Be'lakor (Bella) and gonna make my Bella according to this tutorial, even though I know you make it look way easier than it probably is. Thinking of showing the different gods power in him, by using Blood for the Blood god on the hooks and base instead of lava, Nurgle corruption at the holes in his wings as it was about to regenerate and his tongue as Slaanesh. Thinking about using some more Tzeenzy colours on the swords smoke effect. EDIT: Changed my mind, and will paint the talons on the wings as "bone"ish with blood for the blood god on them.

I tried looking through your videos to find an explanation for the problem im having, when i try to glaze a model with a contrast paint and thin it down with contrast medium its drying very chalky. Would that be because im using to much or should i be using water to thin it down instead ?
@DuncanRhodesDRPA2 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew. It depends on the colour you are using. Some of the Contrast paints are chalky by nature so this issue will occur unfortunately. You can try some water and see what that does but personally, I avoid the chalky colours (such as Space Wolves grey or Ultra Marines Blue).

Great video, but why did you jump around so much? Like all the leather- you based the leather, then did some metalics, then cloth, then the leather again, then skulls, etc. etc. I think the only area you didn't jump around was the skin and wings. On such a large model, isn't it better to just do one thing at a time until complete before moving on to the next?
