Is better if you spend the wheel fast while painting . and hold the spray can in one spot and spray while the will is moving really really fast! Is it give it a even coverage And no runs or over spray

Better paint job would be to spin your wheel & keep the spray in one spot, making the covering more even! Very amateur job!

Should primed them first, and done a dust coat first, then a few heavy coats .. that paint will scratch off..half your spokes are orange 🤔🤔🤔

What about adding a clear protective coat on the rims? Is that needed?

No, bu it will look astonishing. If you put at least 3 coats of paint you can then let it cure FULLY this usully takes at the very least !24! hours even if the paint is dry in 5 (this is very important) then go for the clear coat. After that us about a 2000 grit sand paper "wet" make sure you get it wet before applying it this make sure that the same paper Glide smoothly across the middle without leaving large scratches, it is also very important to not sand too much do not sand in one spot for too long and do not put too much pressure while sanding you do not want to send through the clear coat. After that let it dry off then take some dry buff polish and Kota very heavily and after it is buffed off it will look exteamly professional with mirror finish look.

You could put the spraypaint can somewhere on the wheel away from the other parts and spim the whole wheel and spray in one place and it will look better than this
