How To Paint Brake Calipers With POR-15 For Under $25!

I used G2 Caliper Kit on my car and it lasted for 6 YEARS, only recently has it started to chip. I never even knew about Por 15 and now I wonder if their caliper paint kit is the same as the G2 or if in fact G2 IS por 15 relabelled... interesting tho..

Anyone know if you can apply POR over painted OEM calipers? Maybe just rough it up, clean and apply new coat of same color paint?

I got the kit at 40 bucks...had the metal prep the gray primer and the red...the primer was runny as hell and didn't stick well. Had to do three coats instead of two for it. Otherwise it looked good.

Still looks amazing after 3 years. Gets a little break dust on them but easy to wash off. The color has held great with no chips or paint issues.

Unfortunately, yes. You could speed up the process and add coats sooner, but I'm not certain you would get the same results.

Any rust issue after the paint

Just washed them off a week ago and look just like they do in the vid. They get very little break dust on them, at least on this car, so they look great all the time.

YOU DID IT WRONG! You should be getting around 25 added HP so if you only got 20HP there must have been some issues or missed prep steps taken :P

Not sure where you are seeing any orange. They are as red as red can get.
