@Etikka I normaly apply a flat base color, then use black and white to mix a darker and lighter tone of the same color and then apply shadows and highlights. I don't use much water, little paint and try to blend the colors together nicely.

This is a work of Art and i understand now that a bottle of spry paint is a cheep easy way to do it. Hand painting is the true way to go and this was just a awesome way to show it!
@ItsDomke7 жыл бұрын
Spray paint is good for a uniform finish. You can even do some slight weathering with it. For detail work you do hand painting. It's just faster doing spray paint, so it's good for the base coats.
@saphirone80306 жыл бұрын
That actually make me laugh considering they do use spray paint. In fact they use both to get the better out of it.

I've done black spray paint on a solid black chest plate made out of wonderflex, just use "liquitex gesso" for the primer. Keep in mind, it does scratch off if u do not put a sealer on it like the acrylic finish that she used. But i wanted that look so i left it alone and quite literally threw it around my garage till it looked battle worn.

@Etikka I think what's he's doing is applying a 'blob' layer of paint in an area and then just covering the outer portion he doesn't want to show with more of the base color of paint so it looks like a permanent highlight versus a flat color.

Dieses Video ist kein How to..., sondern nur ein Look how I....
