I noticed when searching for just the right teachers for me I could not learn from just anyone because of some talented people going too fast of speaking too loudly or not really understanding what it is like to be a beginner and learning online. Emma....I love your channel. At age 71, I am a beginner in watercolor. Thank you for all you teach us! BTW, I *am* a gardener and the stamens are *just* the little sticky up bits. :) The center of the flower is actually the ovary/pistil and style (female parts) and the stamens (anther and filament) are the male parts. The anther holds pollen. Pollen gets transferred to the ovary by wind, bees, etc. and makes seeds. Hope this helps.
