IMPORTANT: do NOT spritz your embeds or molds once painted with mica, they will run or smear. Spritz the liquid soap before you embed.

How do you do the mermaid 🧜♀️🧜♂️ splash or can you do a video showing how its done because that can be used on alot of different of soaps not just mermaids only?

Thank you for the great question! I can't do a Mermaid Splash right now, as I can only afford the time and materials to do seasonal soaps, or soaps that I need for my line/my online shop. The soap base I use for Mermaid Splash (at least for the sea) is out of stock at my supplier, so I am hoarding that soap to make a few Fall/Christmas Soaps. I was actually in the process of taking the Mermaid Splash off of my website, and it's a loaf soap, making about 10 soaps, so it uses a lot of materials that would all come out of my pocket. I will consider it in the New Year. I honestly only use that technique with the Mermaid Splash. The Mermaid Reflections (the soap I make in this video) is much more versatile, as you can embed many different soap shapes into a rectangle with a background. The other design was specifically created around the large mermaid tail, including the layers of the sea and the foam on the top. I hope that makes some sense, and I apologize if that's disappointing news. Thank you so much for watching, and for your patience. 🙂❤

Which clear base did you use for this project? How do you get the bubbles out when you want the soap to be very clear?
@msTsoap Жыл бұрын
For the clear part and the back, I used Crafter's Choice Premium Crystal Clear- it is honestly the best for clarity, imo. For bubbles, there's 2 methods I use: spritz the liquid soap with RA a few times, waiting a few seconds in between each spritz; and if that's not working and if it's not too hot, you can pop it back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds and it should cause the bubbles to come to the top and gather in the center- then spritz that before you pour. Hope that helps!
