What shd we use to get golden stencil work on fondant? Just brush gold dust wth spirit? Or royal icing n then brush wth dust n spirit?

You can do it in either of the methods. They both look great at the end

Yes you can use buttercream or Royal icing . It all depends on your cake covering.
