Anyone who thinks armor should be perfectly clean hasn't seen units actually in battle. In the US armed forces, most of them pride themselves on vehicle maintenance and keeping them clean. But any that actually hit the ground in use (planes aside) very quickly get covered in dirt, and there's only so much they can do keep it clean while under and normal optempo. So yeah, there's a reason they paint Army trucks dirt colored. Kinda hides the dirt too. Take a look at USMC vehicles and they get pretty abused pretty fast. Love the little hints on how to add some nice contrasting colors in a realistic way.

Can you please send me the info or link about the silver/bronze used for the edges of shoulder armour and the wings on the chest. The colour makes me want to stick with ultramanines and not go to Blood Angels because I hate that gold/ yellow color lol
