this is amazing and i love the look of the armor. ive yet to paint any marines myself, and been thinking about dark angels and imperial fists, and now i want blood angels haha! im going to try this method, thanks for sharing!

If you want to speed up oil drying time you can either use alkyd based paints or add a drop of cobalt siccative to your wash mix

Another great tutorial, quite like the longer time span, that's just about right for this paint job. Was that an Artis Opus brush? Always put off buy the price, is there a cheaper alternative for those of us just starting the dry brush journey ? Get well soon !!!!

Thanks man! And yea they can be quite expensive, especially if your like me, someone who destroys brushes 😂😂😂 Either army painter have some cheaper ones, or in my case from now on, cheap women’s makeup brushes (there cheaper and softer) 👌🏻👌🏻 hope that helps ma man!

So, i need some advise. I've promed some blood angels, and now cleaning up the glue points and getting most of thw stuff glued together. I noticed thst you have your miniature fully glued. Im afraid to glue some parts on because it would cover quite a bit of the chest plate, or cover the backside of a gun. Wjat is your thought on this?

You have use tak to hold them togeather. Or use subassembly. That’s what I do most of time. Then glue after. Or the tiny tiny tinest drop of superglue makes them hold slightly but can remove when needed

You could use nuln oil. However it will not have the same look. Also find nuln oil a little weak

Awesome job ! no use of airbrush is nice or peoples who haven't one like me :,). A Grimdark Salamanders video cld be great !! There is so few good video about the sons of Vulcan, and most of the time they looks like Dark Angels :s. Love your channel !

Hey, what paint brush are you using to stipel the red paint on? As for the oil wash, can I just use something like Nuln oil or an equivalent?
