2nd vid I have watched; You have earned my sub. I take a die roll with new content creators once a week. My time is valuable to me. My opinion is I am honestly impressed. You May be the best teaching painter I have watched in a long while. I am watching closely. I think the plasma coil tutorial is the best one Ive ever seen all others fail even though dramatic and eye catching look nothing like super heated plasma coils. Yours were spot on super heated by plasma metal. Well done congratulations my sub has been earned.

In a way this emulates the use of streaking grime and a throrough clean-up with mineral spirits. A creative solution but in the end technically inferior to the former. The way you weather and scratch the armour with thinned down white streaks with a black highlight is nice though. That said, you should really venture into enamels and oil washes at this point. Good vid.

I’m very familiar with oil paints and enamel and I agree they look great! However, they are toxic and should be used with gloves and in a well ventilated area and/or with the use of a respirator mask. For that reason I will now use these paints not promote it on my channel for health concerns of my self and my viewers. Thank you for the suggestion!! 😁

I bought 20 Horus heresy space marine because of how amazing you painted these Dusk Raiders. Will 100% using this video for inspiration. Only thing that I’m scared of will be the decals on the shoulders im going to mess it up so much

That makes me sooo happyyy!! Surprisingly free handing death guard symbol took me first try while tactical symbol took me at least 3 tries. If you decide to freehand, I recommend thinning down the white until there’s barley any pigment and trace it on before filling it in. Hope this helps!! 😁

First time I’ve seen Warhammer was at a shopping center in France when I was in a line at a tourist attraction. 😂😂😂 I’ve been painting Horus Heresy because I think it looks cool! I’m open to doing other minis, this is just the minis I have right now! 😁

@@1playbattlefield513 One does not simply paint a mini, without priming it first. I primed it in mechanicus standard Grey rattle can. I typically let you guys pick the mini I'm going to paint. So, it doesn't make sense for me to buy different rattle cans for every mini. Mechanicus standard Grey goes well with pretty much every color and has a good undercoat 😁

@@MultiZegamer I don’t use any oil paints , since there toxic. I do have some ideas of using acrylics to do similar effects but I want to try it out before making a video on it. Vallejo has some streak grimes that are acrylic base but I haven’t tried them out yet.😁

@@nukakitten Yeah, but your painted on markings actually look GOOD ... many painters, and especially beginners really struggle with them. Hell, I have been doing this for 25 years, and I still suck at painting squad markings ... so I just cheat and use a pen if I don't have any decals. Good job BTW!
