For DIY, I actually see advantages of outdoor painting in winter…. Biggest challenge outside in warm temp seasons, spring, summer and fall is “insects”. They are attracted to paint for whatever reason and always end up in paint and primer. Cold weather takes this out of the equation where less repair or wet sand polishing required. Thanks for another great lesson for us DIY guys.

Really informative as always. Is there a time period to allow for paint work to harden fully before fitting bodywork back to bike please following lacquer? Just collecting tank and panels on my '83e(d) from professional painting that have "rested" for 1 week and don't want to mar paint on tank/panels by rushing install etc. Love the vids, keep 'em coming!
