What kind of canvasses do you use? Are they 16x20 ? I got a canvas pad 18x24 I like the canvasses better with wood behind them lol

Yes they are 16"x 20" but not canvas! I make paper 'canvases' and tape them to a traditional canvas with strechers. They save me a ton of storage space and a few $$££ as well. I made a video all about this. Here's the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZPFaqNpnMl2frs

How would I push the mountains far enough back to where they don't have a reflection? Hmmm decisions decisions

The great thing about reflections is they don't need to be too perfect. A rough approximation is good enough and the brain accepts it as a reflection. Mine is quite a way off but still looks ok so deep breath and dive in. Now, top tip use very little paint for the reflection 🙂

@@catieheffner1162 push mountains back by firstly painting them pale with mist . Reflect only the trees or bushes and make them the dominants reflection 😀
