Finally a vehicle tutorial without the use of an airbrush. thanks so much. Just looking at your ork tutorials makes me wanna collect them too :D Im in kind of a pickle atm. I wanna do some orcs, I already have an old army of mine, but im not happy about their look. its very grimdark. I want to replicate your style. But repainting the old ones will be too difficult to pull off without loss of detail. So I thought about buying a new ork combat patrol, building up a new ork army that can eventually replace the old ones. and jsut now I learned that the new edition is coming out next year and I dont know if I wanna buy an Orc army now, since I have to get the starter set later anyways -.- I dont want to drown in plastic but I wanna get going. aaargh!
@TableTopReadyYouTube Жыл бұрын
The combat patrol is a great box. You don’t have to redo the old Orks either. Just have them to see how the Orks play in the new edition. I can’t imagine the new edition will be out before July. It will probably be announced in Manchester in April. That’s 6 months away. Enough time to get some Orks painted. If you have the itch then it means you’ll be motivated to get it done. 🤷🏼♂️ upto you. Who knows Orks May be in the main box again 😁 that would be sick

Follow up question...... Let's say a vehicle is going to have a mix of metallic and coloured body parts, would sub-assemblies and using different spray bases on the different parts (let's say Chaos Black and Leadbelcher) be viable, or is it a lot easier going for the whole thing sprayed in just 1 base colour?

Do you have any advice on painting vehicles for the deathskulls clan? Not sure if I should paint a majority of the plates in blue with some black to break it up or black and pick some out in blue like you have with the red
@TableTopReadyYouTube2 жыл бұрын
That kind of decision is something you alone must decide. When ever I’m deciding on how I want something to look, I first go and see what other people have done. I then kind of pick and choose what I like and think about why I like it. Art work is a great source for inspiration as well. My goff scheme is heavily influenced by the 2nd edition scheme where it was mainly black with some red. I just kind of modernised it and added in stuff i thought looked cool. Pick a colour that would work well with blue. Games workshop use white for example.
@ThePadsta1082 жыл бұрын

WHat colours for blood axe vehicles?
@TableTopReadyYouTube3 жыл бұрын
If I personally were doing a blood axes army, I would be tempted to do a scheme that matches one of the imperial guard colour schemes. otherwise blood axes are really random with there colours as they don't really have set colours as long as there are some camo patterns included
