Hello I just wanted to let you know the reason I even want to paint my models is because of your amazing tutorials
@ShishkopathКүн бұрын
Amazing tutorial, I have never touched paint leave alone painting on a model before, this set is my first, finding right amount of paint, how to mix, where to mix how much water to mix, how to clean brushes etc it all took some time but even though with all that hassle, I didn't have any trouble with my first figurine besides technical stuff, you have everything very detailed, hopefully I will finish my strike team before new year's ^^

Your videos have been amazing for me as someone new to the hobby! I’d love to see you do a video that focuses purely on how you thin paints, for base coats, highlights and glazes. Keep up the great work 🤘

Beautifully painted miniatures and a fantastic video too. I really appreciate you using GW brushes and paints. Makes it very beginner friendly and easy to follow along. A lot of useful advice and information here for me. I only started painting in 2024 back in January but have painted over 350+ models this year - all Imperial Fists. This is really going to help me as I continue to grow my collection from 600+ Firstborn models to a full 1,000 model Chapter.

when doing a black base coat, is this overtop of black primer? Or do you just leave the black primer exposed?

Hey man just wanted to thank you for this - and your other tutorials. I always like seeing peoples methods and paintjobs. I'm a CSM veteran returning for the first time since 7th edition and this was a great help to clean off the rust. Now I just have to decide whether I'm doing Word Bearers or Night Lords.

Ah, the hardest chapter to paint looks so easy with contrast even called "Imperial Fists"! Despite being fan of classical method I have to agree that for Imperial Fists armours contrast is the most reasonable way! Anyway, please don't abandon classical tutorials completly!

Late to the party, but this has to be the single best, simplest guide I've found for a painting guide. It's clear and easy to understand, uses exclusively GW paints (as I do), and doesn't require great blending skills or an airbrush. Seriously, the quality here is unmatched, thank you!

Wait does the citadel glue work if it’s painted first? I was under the impression that it didn’t. How’s it working if it surfaces are already painted?
@DaniThornton-s2h6 күн бұрын
If you're on about plastic cement then no, not really. That's why you need to scrape the connection points clean first.
@TableTopReadyYouTube4 күн бұрын
if your using plastic glue, I would scrape any connection points but I tend to use super glue which you don't have to do that for

Great tutorial as always. I'm actually painting a squad of Imperial Fists Sternguard Veterans at the moment so this is good timing! For my own Imperial Fists, I base coat all of the other colours and leave yellow until last. It helps minimise the amount of clean up afterwards. Have you tried this method before?
@TableTopReadyYouTube4 күн бұрын
I thought about doing that, but ultimatley we're going to neaten everything up no matter. I just wanted to show that its not so scary to have to clean up the yellow I guess :P
