Really great job! It's always nice to see a tutorial on one of the less common chapters like this.

I do not usually comment on videos but this time I have to say you've made me happy. The Red Scorpions are one of my favorite chapters and one of the armies that I collect. GREAT JOB! I have recommended your channel a few people.

I'm a very beginner - currently painting my second Space Marine :D - and I really like to watch your great videos to get some confidence in techniques.

one of the most accurate guides I've seen on Red Scorpions. The Mechanicus Grey is too light, it's not accurate to the dark granite of the Scorpions. Their armour is meant to look like black until you hold it next to actual black - which is exactly what yours does. Nicely chosen.

As always fantastic work, I love that you choose to paint the more unique chapters/factions.

Just got my first miniatures a few days ago, really excited to start assembling them. Painting them is gonna be a different beast, but I'm still excited for it. I also want to say that just by watching your videos the paint jobs are gonna be so much better than if I never have. A future thank you!

Nice work but with just a little modification, that Red Scorpion icon could be made to look like a....lobster! That would be hilarious!

Good to see you back and painting. Would it be possible for you to make a video about painting "veterancy", so the cloaks on sternguard, how to choose the right colours to compliment different schemes and show that they're first company, etc?

Really liked the way this one turned out. Was wondering if I should use a darker or warmer grey when I start my Red Scorpions but like the way you have made this one look so will be using this vid as a guide.

Really really cool model ... I can specially like the scorpion on the shoulder, Danm That Is nice ... ;-)) If you'll take in wishes, then I would very much like you paint a desert space marine, I can not find any with this "design" on youtube ... I want to make a desert themed game board, so would therefore be a great help if you would. ;-) Thanks for showing and please keep up the good work.

stupid question still new to this hobby but why are you putting the paint on your nail do you use a pallet i am very new to your channel as well but other wise great video keep up the good work
@TheApatheticFish8 жыл бұрын
TotalRaven it's not a stupid question. I am adjusting the tip of the brush and getting rid if excess paint. Not a pallet but its close enough to the model that I don't allow the paint to dry on the brush.

Hey fellow wargamers, if i paint my spacemarines in a custom colour pallete, can i that way "create" my own chapter?
@jamescarson6778 жыл бұрын
Yup. Then all you'll need to do is make up some new fluff and you'll have your own chapter.
@thegatorator49848 жыл бұрын
James Carson can i also use them in official battles?
@wesscherle41938 жыл бұрын
yes
@taz319998 жыл бұрын
You can use any Space Marine Tactics with your custom chapter. Color Scheme are not bound to rules
@TheApatheticFish8 жыл бұрын
There are two lost legions. Basically blank spaces for you to create your own legions with personal fluff. You can also make spin off chapters with successor chapters to others you like. You can basically make up anything you like and It'd be cool to have some fluff to run it using any marine/chaos codex that makes sense
