Hey Folks, beware of SCAMS - I will never give away mystery paintings, prints or other works via messages or comments. If you hear from me, It will be via a video here on my channel. Beware of posers and scamers. They're getting crafty these days. Thanks so much to those bringing the latest one to my attention.

I just fell for it, but then they asked for a $100 shipping when I told them I felt like I'd been played their response was such, that I then knew proof positive it wasn't you, but I handed out my home address. doh!! stoopid me. I really should have known after I got the first message from them they sounded NOTHING like you even in written form. *sigh live and learn

So sorry to hear that scammers are targeting people whilst claiming to be you Andrew. I know what this awful experience is like from way back in 2005. So I share what you must feeling with regard to this horror story. Nevertheless, people who know you well over the years will continue their love and support for you and your artworks. Meanwhile, not sure what can be done to stop these scammers from promoting their charade. Once again take care Andrew.

The scene you painted Andrew is very special to me. One that I awaken to every morning. The hill is called Taratara and the little island is Red Island. Whangaroa was the earliest European settlement in New Zealand. The sunsets here up north at times leave me speechless. I adore your work. Thank you.

That's what my dad said and all these years was stuck on my mind-sunsets are so pretty and no one will belief, but long winters here i needed that color to mix and paint and loved it , i just had to dissect

Thank you Mr Tischler for this demonstration of ripples in a larger body of water. I actually love to paint sunsets. But I have been very frustrated with water when it is not a mirror-like reflection. The ripples just always fall flat. Or look fake or just not right. I told myself maybe this is just not a technique that I can master. I am going to study this video a bit because I can see how your checkerboard pattern is very useful. Maybe I am giving up at the point where it is daunting and not pushing on through until I like it. I see some practice paintings in my future. Thanks so much for your generosity.

Love the result of the sky's warm glow. The technique you use in complementary flow of chroma so it all appears as a unit of graduation. I also learned about slanting incoming water almost defined as a van Gogh tiny strokes overlapping from dark to light to create, layers & directional curves. PS Love your horse paintings. Rosie Hoy

Sometime back I had made a painting along with your demo where you teach about atmosphere and I was pleasantly surprised to see it turning out so much better than my previous ones..- just following you and blindly just doing what you were doing.... you know?.. :) Here also I saw that the photo showed so much yellow that looked so cadmium yellow - but the colors in your finished work made it so much better... I guess one must learn to see with an artist's eyes ...right? Thank you so much.

Mr Tischler, I just looked at your portrait courses and I now know that you will be the painting instructor that will help me reach mastery. The quality of your work is amazing and yet your portraits are priced at very affordable prices - it shows that you understand the journey of an artist and what we go through in the beginning. I am a graphite artist specializing in portrait drawing. I want to master graphite and charcoal drawing and then from there I will jump onto portraits and will be using your learning material to reach mastery. You already have a variety of things to offer and I only hope that you keep adding to your library of painting lessons because I know that once I have my funds ready I will come and buy ALL that you have to offer. I would like to know, is it possible to learn from you and attain your level of skill from the comfort of my own home without ever needing to go further my studies at an institution??? I do not know how to get the outlines of what I am drawing using freehand drawing techniques, I first need to trace the outlines of my portraits and then dry paint it to light with graphite powder. I was thinking of studying at an Atelier in order to master the drawing and painting fundamentals and then using your courses in order to solidify my style and reach that quality of a master in all that I paint. Would there be a need for this or could I do this with just your help from home?

Every time I watch your videos (and often more than once), I learn something new. The biggest thing you have taught me is patience. I used to rush through painting, wanting to see the finished product, but when I look at those paintings now, they appear "flat". Your slow and steady technique and the use of small strokes of slightly varying color ranges rather than long strokes of one color really make the paintings pop. Thank you soooooo much for changing the way I paint. It may take longer, but the end result is worth it. I'm actually enjoying the slower process, like watching a rose bloom in slow motion ... it makes you appreciate the beauty of every detail. You're awesome. Thanks for sharing your talents.

I think your art is very textural compared to my own, and I have been trying to emulate some of your style to enhance my own. This video showcases how you use that textural technique for the shimmering highlights on the water in the distance which gives an illusion far greater than anything you could paint. Which is a very good technique.

Hi Andrew, What beautiful colours you have have used in this lovely New Zealand sunset. I love the tonal effect that adds to the impression of the setting sun, and I know this is not something you normally paint, despite being a flexible painter, but hey there my friend, you probably should do more of these now you set a new trend. Kind regards and best wishes mate. Thanks for demo.

Awesome as always. When I do blue in a sunset, I love burnt umber, a tad of cobalt teal and white, for my blue in the sky. The gray just simultaneously creates a blue while fusing with the horizon colors.
