Beautiful painting as always. My best memory of FromSfot games has to be the game in general I have autism and it's a struggle to do a lot of basic tasks but when I play FromSoftware games they keep me focussed and entertained for hours on end and if I'm ever overstimulated or beginning to shut down and become mute these games are always there to help calm me down and help me forget what got me overwhelmed to begin with and has taught me a lot about patience and anger management as we all know the bosses can be difficult and frustrating and for someone like me thats a huge thing to be able to learn all those skills. I owe these games a lot

Can’t say I have a favorite memory but what I love most is the ambiguity around the lore in each game. There’s just enough information to connect overarching dots, but not enough which in turn ends up allowing for community driven ideas. I love that :)

It’s not exactly a moment from within the games, but some of my favorite memories of soulsborne are times where I learn the lore of the games in depth. The bosses are amazing without paying attention to lore, but with the added context they hit so hard and it feels fantastic

My best memory of FromSoft games is the sense of awe you get from new areas. I fell in love with BB chalice dungeons because of their designes, and I love the atmosphere. The Isz chalices never fail to make me feel joy when opening the door for another floor. I play to find that sensation again and again. I just love the feeling of looking at a place that's beautiful yet terrifying at the same time

👋 You finally reached my favorite design in perhaps all of DS and Souls - the Titanite Demon!!!! Not sure if it suffices, but I will explain this as my favorite "moment" from these games. I was terrified when I saw him in the Belltower basement and avoided him at first. Eventually I came back to defeat him. I LOVE this design. It is so much more badass by not having a face or a leg. It makes you wonder more about them: what is that symbol on the inside of its head? Is it a rune? An enchantment to bring them to life from titanite statues? The boss mechanic / animation reflects his handicap here, as he crawls or prowls along to seek you out, somehow with a scary sense of directly where you are. And then the leaps/lunges, what a necessary and fierce move to close the distance and possibly kill his prey. I almost feel he would have been pretty boring as a typical bipedal enemy statue type, though maybe the tail and long polearm would have still been interesting in that form. And then, considering his agility when he leaps, it makes you wonder about his true, bipedal form - would it have been so much more powerful and formidable? Perhaps.

Best memory of the entire series is when I first played Dark Souls 1 in college. What rlly made it for me is that every time I got stuck or frustrated my roommate (who had played it a bunch) was ready to give me small tips so I never had to look anything up and it felt like I played it the way it was meant to be played. Been chasing that since lol

My favourite memory was from ds3 when beating Gael for the first time. I never watched any videos on the dlc so everything was brand new to me and this was in 2020. It took me a couple of attempts, but the adrenaline rush in his final phase was awesome and beating him knowing he was the final boss in the dark souls series was satisfying. DS3 the 🐐

I can’t pick out a specific favorite moment from all of soulsborne, but my favorite memories would have to be the ones where I get dropped into or discover a brand new area and get to see it’s in all of its gorgeous entirety. Seeing the sweeping landscapes of places like Irithyll of the boreal valley, the profaned capital, anor londo, etc for the first time is a feeling like no other.

My favourite memory was in Dark souls 3 after beating the abyss watchers for the first time. It was the first true challenge and it wasn't that I was relieved that I had won, but rather that I had spent so much time perfecting the fight and learning the attacks. It was a combination of satisfaction and an emptiness that left you yearning for the next challenge. That was when I realised I truly loved the souls games

The best memory and what keeps me coming back to the souls game is the overall experience, the journey itself. Knowing that nothing is taken for granted in this everlasting cycle. The first time I killed Gwyn lord of cinder I was terrified, the game was over and I did not want to get out. But like a canvas, the soul's games offer you something special, to relieve that experience over and over, different builds, strategies, and approaches, to paint this world however you want. Is not about the games themselves but how you experience them.

I’m glad I found this channel! I’m highly obsessed with the souls borne series and am trying to get into painting minis for the sole reason of painting the board game. One of my favorite memories is convincing my friend that there are no mimics in ds2. He’s beaten elden ring, bloodborne, and ds1 but wanted to play all the games. We started a coop run and I convinced him that there were no mimics in ds2, only trapped chests. I think the lack of mimics in bloodborne and elden ring helped sell this. The joke was a slow burn, but was worth it hearing him scream and then burst into laughter after opening the first mimic.

My best memory from a FromSoft game would be when I found the New Londo ruins. Something about coming off the elevator and finding hollows that won’t attack you but seem to be in pain mixed with the sight of the blue-ish green-ish shimmer of the location was amazing and immediately made me want to run out of there. My favourite memory of playing a FS game was when one of my friends and I did a co-op run in DS3 roleplaying as a young pyromancer and his elderly uncle from the Way of the White. The bestf memory i have from the souls games is between beating the gaping dragon for the first time or beating the Soul of Cinder for the first time. The gaping dragon was really the first difficult challenge for me, and overcoming that challenge was what made dark souls click for me. However, the Soul of Cinder has such an emotional gut punch. When I heard the second phase, I nearly cried. The theme song was one of the reasons I actually played the souls games in the first place. I heard all the stories of how the plin plin plon brought people to tears, and I wanted to know what that felt like, and I did.

The biggest moment I can think of is with Demon's Souls Remake. Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time, but I started with DeS, and obviously I was awful at the games. The moment the game clicked for me, however, was such an amazing moment and really made sure I played the rest of this series. It's such a hard hurdle to overcome, but everyone has that moment when it clicks, and the games just make sense on how to play.

My fondest memory was when I first killed Maiden Astraea in Demon's Souls. The second part of the Valley of Defilement had frustrated me. The poisoned marsh made it impossible to deal with the Giant Depraved Ones, and due to a holiday event, the place was in Pure Black World Tendency, meaning there were black phantom versions of them as well. So I opted to just stop fighting my way through and just run. I reached the last leg of the level, which was a rotten shantytown, got utterly lost, and nearly panicked as I was swarmed by crowds of enemies and couldn't find a shortcut anywhere (heck, at the time, I didn't even know there WAS one). But I persevered, got to the end of the level, and beat the Dirty Colossus all without dying. So that put me in a good mood because I felt like I had accomplished something. So I proceeded further to the last part of the Valley, and I was greeted with scenery that was eerie, music that was haunting, and a supposed demon that was not some massive hellspawn, but a beautiful saintly woman and her loyal knight. I got knocked into the mire my first time, where I caught the plague and was eaten alive by the fetuses within. But something felt wrong about the fight; the way both Astraea and Garl Vinland acted made it seem like they weren't evil, at least intentionally, they just wanted to help the abandoned masses of the Valley. If anything, it felt like I was the villain, as I was the one storming the refuge, killing all who stood in my way, all to claim a Demon Soul that I would undoubtedly use for power. Worse, upon defeating Garl, Astraea does not fight back; she just killed herself, all the while contemptuously telling you to TAKE your DEMON SOUL! It was then when I realized this game's story was not just some hastily thrown-together excuse to go mow down monsters. There was something very very in-depth and passionate going on beneath the surface, and I was being given only a glimpse of it. I was enjoying Demon's Souls just fine, but at this point, I was loving it, and I've been loving the Soulsborne franchise of games ever since.

My best memory was definitely beating Father Gascoigne for the first time. Although Sekiro was the first souls game that I started, I didn't get very far. When I played Bloodborne the Cleric Beast felt great to finally beat, but learning Gascoignes moves and parrying him to death was one of the greatest feelings I've ever had when playing a game. Also when I fought the Shadows of Yharnam, I somehow beat them first try, that was pretty great too. Other than Bloodborne, definitely just the entirely of Elden Ring was incredible, my favorite moment was probably fighting Radahn, that boss is absolutely insane and I love it.

My first souls game was DS3, and as cheesy as this may seem… The Abyss Watchers fight. Omg from the music, the cutscenes… it was one of the most frustrating moments at that time for me because it was the first 2 phase fight in the game and again, it was my first souls game. I really wanted to give up and I’m so glad I didn’t give in because after learning the move sets and dodging all of the attacks and finally beating them… it was such a great feeling. Such a beautiful fight. It’s a breeze for me now after being on new game + 6. It’s not longer a frustrating fight, but still just as beautiful and epic as it was the first time

Best (at least in hindsight) memory was propably when i played my first soulslike in DS3 and the Abyss Watchers kicked my ass and i was on discord with some friends when i finally beat them. i thought i beat them. then the cutscene played. and ppl still reminisce on the panic in my voice when i yelled 'why is he standing up?!'

Me and my 2 homies beat dark souls 1 when it released by passing the controller when we died, and i was the one who managed to beat the undead parish gargoyles. We were so hyped. One of my fondest gaming memories.

I think I may have commented on another video about this but I met a really good friend of mine when I summoned him for the nameless king fight in ds3. From there we’ve been all the way back to dark souls one to Elden ring.

Lol my favorite memory is trying to co-op with my friend in DS1. Literally after 20 minutes of trying to connect with each other, I finally got in his game. We IMMEDIATELY got invaded and I died almost instantly. That was the last time we tried playing together until DS3 lol.

My best memory has to be Sister Friede and Father Ariandel boss fight. Not gonna like that fight took me hours upon hours to beat. Very rewarding in the end when I was finally able to defeat them!

The blood on the axe looks disgusting.....awesome haha. Brilliant work! My most memorable moment would be the first pvp fight. My brother and I first played demon souls and someone invaded us. I had been preyed upon and my brother was backstabbed. We died but hell my guard now is faultless.

My best memory was from DS2 in the shaded woods, I got backstabbed by one of those falcon knights, when I got back up he parried me, and then parried me again before I finally managed to kill him. I'll never forget how that one enemy put me in my place 😂

My best memory is probably from elden ring when I first got the game and spent the first hour or two panic rolling around some soldiers of godrick trying not to die

My favourite memorie in a fromsoft game is in elden ring pvp where i had the chance to fight none other than Barak Obama both shirtless only with our fist, the epic battle kept going easely for 15 minutes till, tired and convinced of my will to win, he suicide. Rest In Pepperoni Barak. Also great job with the painting. 👌

A common experience i think but this is mine's favorite. After 13,5 hours of fighting malenia spread around almost a week i was able defeat her. I was so thrilled that 2 of my friends and myself Went to eat some pizza to celebrate

my best memory from any fromsoft game has to be beating Ornstein and Smough for the first time, i had been going for about 6 hours before i managed to beat them and the sense of accomplishment after that was unmatched.

On the first playthrough of the third Dark Souls, I killed the Giant with an ordinary two-handed sword (it took me two days to do this XD). How surprised I was when I found out that there is a hurricane sword for killing him (I picked it up, but didn’t understand that he had a special attack with charging, and yes, I didn’t play Demon Souls then) and moreover, to fight with it you can call Onion Knight :..D

Sorry I did not respond earlier it was busy today, my favorite memory was the first time that I overcame the fume knight. It took me a while when I was fighting him to realize I had to get rid of those things outside with smelter wedges. After that he was no mush over, I died the most time I have ever died fighting this boss. When I finally killed him I was celebrating for the next few days.

For me, it was when i went into slave knight gael with my friend who got me into fromsoft and a mutual friend of ours. Got Gael to phase three, zero estus left and both my phantom buddies died 😭. Had to physically calm myself while timing everything, but made it through by my lonesome with a beefed up Gael in the rearview mirror lol 😊
