I learned so much from this video. I have struggled with trees and flat looking colors but learning the importance of using warm and cool colors and the difference it makes may just bump me up to another level. I especially love the use of water drops and splattetring to create the shape of the canopy. Otherwise I have been too deliberate with my decisions and it showed. And the addition of orange to the sky made the painting absolutely glow! I will also begin sketching out my trees instead of just applying the paint. There are other hints and tips but my brain is filled with excitement and I can't remember everything at the moment. I will rewatch and jot down noteds. Thanks again so much. I can't wait to make my compositions.
