Here I am two years late in complementing you on your wonderful blue bells, always love fields of them. In the States the tall Virginia Blue Bells are the most lovely. Our horticultural people here in Wisconsin call them invasive, however, I thoroughly love them. We grow the much shorter ones. Thoroughly agree that loose strokes that are more interpretive that you’re doing 👏👍💖!! But of course I am older and just enjoy putting brush and paint to paper, not necessarily a photo. Saw your short video, such lovely music, could have watched it all day long!🥰

Hi Shirley, thank you so much for your lovely message! And thanks especially for mentioning my DD who does all the important stuff behind the scenes! If you struggle with loose, here are a couple of ideas - use a larger brush than you normally do, hold it near the end, not near the hairs, and sometimes try painting with your other hand (non dominant, i.e. left if you are right handed!) Above all, don't worry if it takes a life of its own. That's what we want really, isn't it! Happy painting, and keep sharing your thoughts!

And thanks for sharing some of the more personal stuff- really interesting.

Thanks so much for your comment, much appreciated. So glad you're going to have a go at the bluebells. I was surprised how simple they are, with their little six-pointed hats! Also I'm glad you like the shorter format, some videos can run very long and they lose me, so I like a quick shot of input myself. Thankyou Diane! I deeply appreciate that you share your incredible gift of drawing and painting like you do! I love your flavours a lot… There is definitely a Right or Wrong with Almighty God… that there is SO much anti-God these days…this is why we have SO much evil, wrongness, cruelty, ugliness, hatefulness, treating others SO unkind and without respect, life doesn’t have value, seared consciences, little left of morals and principles, selfishness, and SO much more! That is what happens when we take God out of the picture! God is Love…He is SO good! We definitely are in a powerful spiritual battle…between right…and wrong!
