My M4 Bushmaster is set up identical to yours, I went with the Dark Forrest Green for my base coat, then Bare Earth and Flat Black for the Tiger Stripe pattern, I made my own stencil for the Stripe pattern, then went back over the whole rifle with the Deep Forrest Green just to tone down the black and brown stripes, it turned out great in my opinion, I’m good for all seasons.

The red in my opinion was a no go, it washes out all the other colors. Try base color dark earth, then brown and OD green and maybe a little black. If you like it, that is what matters. Good video

as you can see on my logo on YT i like white red color combinaison. I think your camo turned out 8/10 i like it ! red tiger stripes just cool ! i think but its my opinion only, that if you double red tiger lines with some darker red / dark grey or some black fine tiger stripes, that would pop up the all camo. ( usually camo are 1 base color and 2 colors into it. here its white red. ) But again : great fun camo. i probably gonna use your work to paint my crossbow !

I'm not gonna hate but I will give advice. The point to painting is to break up the out line of the weapon not bring attention to it. Concept of the pattern is perfect, next time go od and dark earth. Use a few leaves off the ground too to break up the colors. If you like it I love it

I served in the military, and painted many rifles. I'm not gonna hate on your color choice. My AR and bipod is tan with a black ejection port cover, muzzle device, and forward assist. The buttstock, lpvo, pistol grip, bipod legs, and foregrip are all wrapped in camo tape. The good thing about spray paint is that you can paint over it. Another method you can try is wrapping the rifle with 550-cord (paracord), then spraying it. Majority of the people giving you crap are LARPERs. Anyone that is or was in the military don't really care. It's not about the weapon. It's about how you use it. There are quick ways to cover up the red if you were ever in an environment that needs it.

The main functionality of camouflage is to blend into an environment and break up the visual outline of your weapon to blend in with the surroundings so that by the naked eye your weapon doesn't give away your position, so with that being said what environment are you trying to blend in with that your color choice is gray, white, and red? The inside of a volcano? Im not trying to be a hater by no means but if we were in a combat situation together that weapon would get us all seen and killed by the enemy. I would much rather go into a defensive or offensive combat zone with a factory black weapon than a weapon with all those bight colors, it looks cool like its blood stained but its not smart for a defensive or survival hunting weapon

Using dish soap has been around forever. Same thing with using water drops on flat metal and spraying makes awesome designs. This rifle... EVEN SANTA WOULDN'T LIKE IT! I'm not trying to be rude, but the order of the colors along with making X's with some colors, it's horrible. And this is in no way "the right way" to do it. Go watch some videos from military and vets to see how to do it properly and once you do, use whatever colors you want but reject the candy cane!
