Can you do another tutorial on the fly yoke and pockets pls, this was so helpful
@fshhandchips35516 күн бұрын
Check out Eric W Stiles yoke video on youtube, and for the fly, make it 1.5wide and how ever long your crotch seam is, before it starts to curve

would I have to add the the front pockets to the pattern?
@stanleyphan458912 күн бұрын
yes

So for the yoke do you just keep the same measurements and add the yoke or do you have to subtract something off
@stanleyphan458911 күн бұрын
For me, I keep the same measurements and add a yoke on the back panel. I add 1/2 in seam allowance
@buns4everyone11 күн бұрын
At 6:16 why did you move in 1-6/8ths of an inch? Is there a specific reason for that specific measurement?
@fwishhy11 күн бұрын
Its just porportions, its the same as 1 3/4 inch
@fshhandchips35516 күн бұрын
On tiktok you added 1 Inch SA to the back but here you add 0.5 inch SA, whyd you change it?
@stanleyphan45896 күн бұрын
good catch, I was moving ahead of myself, I think you should keep it at 1 inch, but 0.5 inch won't make too much of a difference

how do you do the yoke and waistband?
@stanleyphan458911 күн бұрын
waistband is pretty simple, I typically make a 4 inch width and use the length of you waist and add 2-3 inches. Yoke can be made differently. I'll have to make a separate video on it.

great video🔥 where do you get your denim?

Would the fly, waist, and yoke just be drafted/sewn just like any other pair of jeans or is there a specific way for selvedge jeans? Also thanks this is super helpful I'm gonna do this tonight
@stanleyphan458912 күн бұрын
same way as any other pair

Why didn’t you add easing to the butt on the back panel? Adding 4 inches adds width but what about adding fabric vertically? I tried this method (adding 4 inches to the hip) and it still fit weird until I sliced the seat line and pivoted up 2 inches from the outer corner . Could it be different for everyone?
@fshhandchips355112 күн бұрын
that's called a yoke
@andrew904812 күн бұрын
@ Buddy no its not 😭 I’m talking about adding easing where did you get yokes from
@khalilbeamon11 күн бұрын
So basically you increased the back crotch rise?
@fshhandchips355111 күн бұрын
When you add fabric an pivot on the other side, that helps to create more of a yoke. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2rFpXmggJilrpIsi=FAuXSinBZQThYyA9&t=1537

@ adding ease has nothing to do with creating a yoke, thanks for trying to help tho
