If you have a deep love for pomegranates as I do but you absolutely hate peeling them, watch this video. I am embarrassed to confess that there were times in the grocery market when I would avoid eye contact with pomegranates simply because I dread peeling them. But to my utmost delight, I have recently discovered something that I should have found ages ago!! Apparently Asians have had a great relationship with pomegranates since the beginning of China. On that side of the world nobody dreads peeling pomegranates. No, they don't drown and pluck... They simply spank the seeds out of them. Now that I have finally found out their secret, I have a newfound love for pomegranates! (Turns out many people already know this!! How did this peeling art get past me!?) Going from a 20 minute bloody battle to a 2 minute spanking has revolutionized my life and I no longer avoid eye contact. Now I am aware that I am not alone… There are other pomegranate lovers among us who still avoid going down the pomegranate aisle. Just like me, this obvious secret peeling art has managed to elude them until now. Allow me to take out the bitter from your bitter-sweet relationship. If the past version of me describes you, then I hope you already watched this video. Yesterday. Oh and one last thing. I heard that it is very healthy to pass this video on to any of your suffering pomegranate loving friends. Let’s make pomegranates great again! Bon Appetite’

Pomegranates are one of the paradise fruits mentioned in the Holy Quran. Quranic medicine scholars believe that pomegranate as a fruit of paradise comes in autumn because the autumn season is the fall season of trees and clogs of the sky and is very useful in preventing depression and worry.

@WordofAdviceTV5 жыл бұрын
The peel and all the white membrane sections get thrown away or given to the chickens or other farm animals and the seeds can be eaten as they are. :) They're delicious! But yes, you can use them as an ingredient in a smoothie as well. My wife likes to make salads with pomegranate seeds in it. (there are many different kinds)
@holtrussell5 жыл бұрын
That’s fantastic Jay, great advice! The best part of the story is going to be the now needed addition of chickens and a variety of hooved farm animals (I need to see what Dakota County will allow) and my wife’s reaction to our new family members! I’m sure my son will love it! Will see how long I can stay married for.
