If you have a deep love for pomegranates as I do but you absolutely hate peeling them, watch this video. I am embarrassed to confess that there were times in the grocery market when I would avoid eye contact with pomegranates simply because I dread peeling them. The peel and all the white membrane sections get thrown away or given to the chickens or other farm animals and the seeds can be eaten as they are. :) They're delicious! But yes, you can use them as an ingredient in a smoothie as well. My wife likes to make salads with pomegranate seeds in it. (there are many different kinds)
