When people film tutorials, so many times it’s so frustrating to the viewer because they’re either out of shot and then what’s the purpose, or it’s blurry and sometimes they’re too far from the camera for us to really see close up what they are doing. So many of your shots were perfection 👍🏾. Also, your instructions were not only accurate, but very thorough. Last but not least, your mani came out amazing!! Do you ever use Dip Powder over your full cover gel tips? I like to use Dip Powder and when I don’t feel like building my nails with Builder Gel, I will apply the full cover gel tips and apply Dip Powder over them. I applied the nails. Not exactly the way you recommended, but I was able to get them to stay put. Thank you so much 😊

I started using these kinds of tips but I have a problem. My nails are medium long and the free edge goes downwards. Therefore, if the tip fits the cuticle area really well, it does not fit the free edge. Should I cut my nails short? Should I simply fill the space and practically incorporate the free edge into the 'new' free edge? Help! 🙈

I always cut my nails really short before applying but I’ve seen them applied on longer nails, try adding more gel to fill the space I would assume or at the very least file the free edge and remove the portion of your nail that curves downward. I’m not a licensed nail tech so that’s just a suggestion from a DIY’er

So you are using a builder gel to glue the full cover gel tips ? ❤ I have everything ready but I’m not sur if I should use builder gel or glue 😂lol…..your nails look great btw❤

Thank you! I’m using a foundation gel, or gel glue that has to be cured.

Can you paint the nails before you apply them?
@PerfumedAndPolished3 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if the light will penetrate to cure the nails if they are pre-painted.

Would the beetles base coat work if I don’t have the foundation by gelish?
@PerfumedAndPolished3 жыл бұрын
I think it would, are you taking about the Beetles gel that comes with the nail tip kit?
@GunpowderMilkshakes3 жыл бұрын
@@PerfumedAndPolished yes. I also have some that came with my gel polishes.

@@GunpowderMilkshakes Ok, I’m not sure about regular base coat but it’s gel so I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

@@PerfumedAndPolished that was my thinking also. I’ll give it a go and see how it works. Thanks! Also new follower 🥰

i don’t own an e-file, is there another way to rough up the inside of the tip?
@PerfumedAndPolished2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use a hand file or buffer or you can use primer, just apply a thin layer to the inside of the tip.

I’m new to nail care and have a questions: does acrylic not need to be applied to full nails? : do you have tutorials on half nail tips?
@PerfumedAndPolished2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I have a tutorial using half nail tips using polygel. I don’t use acrylic as of right now but will at some point. No, you don’t have to use acrylic to apply full nail tips, you can apply with gel.
