What a great children's book, we had to get it for our kids. I wish more people knew about that book. Such a beautiful story.

Thank you for that. In my mature years, though I've lived a Global adventurous life, I'm often a bit paranoid for my young adult daughters, just now taking on the Entrepreneurial Arena. It's a great life! A great challenge. With great fulfillment. Every Best to You. Keep Happy, Charles. P.S. I also started out in Textile Designing of Polynesian Wraps, T Shirts and associated products.

Our experiences here are subjective and based upon our personal experiences. Its true that shifting your perceptions related to aspects of life and its many challenges can actually remove hurdles by way of changing our perspective. Removing of the mind set that limits our ability to proceed through life and the world successfully by our own yardstick. Some hurdles are self imposed, while others are a part of our environment and others are imposed by other conscious beings who choose to do so. Our mind set cannot remove those hurdles. But it can help us to deal with those hurdles. Competition is not a hurdle. Its a part of life but one that should be set about by one's performance and not one's ability to sabotage another's without detection. Competition should be beneficial in that it challenges one to better themselves in some way but not to sabotage what they're doing when they attempt to succeed. Or to ruin someone's character by social abuse so that it makes another look that much better. That does happen but it shouldn't. Those are real world hurdles that not all people face and therefore have no perception thereof. I believe that we should always be conscious of ourselves and our virtues because the person who will ultimately end up with that weight is ourselves. We'll have to contend with it before we shuffle off this mortal coil because we can't run from ourselves. A conscience can't be simulated by social activism by making a person suffer immediately for their bad, whatever that may be. It comes down to how we measure ourselves and especially when we stand on the precipice of our own end (which I believe is just another beginning). If we cause undue suffering to others then chances are we're going to answer for that to ourselves. Our conscience keeps a pretty good score in those terms and when we do face that point in our life, there's not going to be anyone else around to impress. Facing oneself even transcends the idea of others punishing us for our (or others') perceived wrongs in life. That's not bad though if you've lived well and treated others fairly throughout your life and especially so if you've left the world a little bit better than it was when you got here. No matter how meager our means, we always have the ability to affect the world and others in a positive manner. No matter how we're treated by others we have the same power too. That all adds up and its what we face when we leave. Not as a result of others judgement and punishment of us but as a result of our own measure of ourselves. Our behavior is not an accurate assessment of our conscience because our behavior can be affected by the hormones our body produces or is stimulated into producing. So anxiety, depression, lethargy and mania are all emotional states and behaviors that can result from the production of hormones (which skews our perception of the world and of ourselves). So a depressed person is not a person who is guilty of some wrong doing because most such behavior is the result of hormone imbalance. That can all be affected by what we eat, drink, medication, narcotics and a variety of other sources. So its not an accurate measure of the presence of our conscience. Our conscience is our measure of ourselves and our conscious action and choices in life. We might carry the weight of others for some time and it might be heavy at times, but in the end when we come to the end of our time here, we face ourselves for our conduct here. So depending upon your life path and your choices, that might be good or it might not be so good. I believe that we're really alive when we realize that fundamental truth. What do you want to face about yourself and life when you reach that end? Since the end is just another beginning of sorts, how do you want to start your next beginning? I certainly would love to see this world a bit better than it was when I got here and it wasn't that bad at all when I arrived. I believe that your video is full of clever insights and takes a very optimistic approach to life. It's true that we are all doing our best and it comes down to our conscious choices. Some people might consider life in the morning when they wake up. Others (like me) are more night people and spend most of our time contemplating life and the universe after the sun has set. It's not negative to say that we'll face ourselves at the end (beginning) at all. It's a wonderful thing. It's just how you look at it.
