It's nice to listen to someone who sounds normal for once Not like your typical KZbinrs screaming at the camera

If you have a Samsung smartphone, turn on voice command and command "shoot!" for instant snap of the shutter (also increase shutter speed) for better control. Also, using voice is touch free so no shaking at all. IMHO, using a timer is too finicky and time consuming. Open camera: settings > shooting methods > voice control. Also turn on "shutter sound" to confirm the voice controlled shot was taken since it's locked onto the mount.

I have taken many great photos of the moon by making my own phone mount and without any filters. it's very difficult but very rewarding. I also use a Bluetooth remote to take the photos without disturbing the telescope

In my language , Malayalam, the moon is called Ambili Ammavan.(moon uncle). Many of us imagined the 'face' of moon with eyes and smiling with a curved mouth... :) It was 34-35 years ago and I feel happy now that I got a chance for such a lovely nostalgic imagination. Thanks for uploading.

Awesome, I never knew about the manual focus on iPhone, always thought is was only on Android. I'll use this next time I'm out with my telescope and iPhone.

Reflector doesn't produce CA but the cheap eyepiece do.
