Hi Troy, I searched your channel for information about manufacturer’s tolerances. Would you be able to share that information about the various racquet brands? I know of only a couple that I’ve seen printed on the racquet. For example: Babolat +/-7gms weight and +/-7mm balance. Tecnifibre +/-4 gms weight and +/-4mm balance. How about Prince, Yonex, Wilson, and Head?

There are a lot of good options that we sell. The Babolat Pure Aero and Yonex VCORE 100 tend to be a couple of the most popular choices. While the Head Extreme MP is a good one as well, and for a great price at the moment the Dunlop SX 300 Tour, or Prince Textreme Warrior 100 are both great choices. Troy, TW

Hi a quick question relating to this video, what difference does the material used in the racket do and how. being head using graffine, youtek and Wilson using Kevlar and such?
@tenniswarehouse6 жыл бұрын
@Ivanquisher Dub, The difference in materials will translate to different feel at contact. Some materials mute the feel more and keep the sensations comfortable, while others are a bit stiffer feeling. The best way to see how each feel is to demo them side by side and see what you prefer. A lot of the more modern racquets have more of a muted, dampened feel. Michelle, TW

What about small frame senior men, who are intermediates? What's a good head size? 105 or under or go 110? that is moving around the court and getting into position on fast balls cannot insure a cetered hit. singles only no doubles .
@tenniswarehouse Жыл бұрын
I think as an intermediate you are likely fine with something in the 100-105 headsize range, that said there is nothing wrong with going up to a 110 if you find it advantageous to your playing style. Troy, TW

I was hoping to find out. What does for eg the cortex babolat has -7 and the GT has -9. What does this mean?
@martinhepburn78974 жыл бұрын
Are there advantages of a smaller head size since it reduces the size of the sweet spot, does the power increase when you hit the smaller sweetspot?
@tenniswarehouse4 жыл бұрын
The main benefit is an increase in precision, on shot placement. We also notice an increase in the amount of feel for the ball, a more connected feel to the ball on the strings. Troy, TW

Question. Is Jason’s favorite shoe the ff or Ubersonic? Buying new shoes and have a medium to wide foot. How bout the vapor x is that pretty snug or wide?
@tenniswarehouse7 жыл бұрын
My current favorite shoe is the Gel Court FF. I found the upper to be soft enough to accomodate my wider foot. I just started testing the Vapor X and it has a wider toe box. So far so good with the Vapor X, I just had a little break in issue with the arch. Jason, TW

I'm a intermediate level player.... Is Wilson Pro Staff rf97 autograph good for me?
@tenniswarehouse3 жыл бұрын
Probably not the RF97 Autograph version, just due to the weight and how hefty that racquet feels, but you might consider the Pro Staff 97 v13 (315 gram version) or the Pro Staff 97L. Troy, TW

I am an all court player who is 15. I have been using the pro staff 97l cv for 2 year, there are certain thing I love about the racket and some thing I am not so keen on. I love the control I get from the pro staff however like the sweet spot is small and you lose feel and power outside it. I’m. Looking for my racket to be 300-305g and the head size to be 98-100. Any suggestions based on my likes and dislike of my current racket?
@tenniswarehouse5 жыл бұрын
I would consider racquets such as, Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19, Yonex VCORE 98, Wilson Blade 98 16x19, and Head Graphene 360 Speed MP. Troy, TW

@@tenniswarehouse hey Troy too late here but I am just stuck between the ezone 98 and vcore pro 97 310. I am 13. I play with a blade 98 l CV and I generally like 305 ish g (so consider ing the ezone) rackets but I have heard that the vcore pro is great.Would the vcore pro 97 be too heavy for me?? I am an agressive baseliner medium spin.
@tenniswarehouse4 жыл бұрын
@@prathamsharma8713 The VCORE Pro offers more control and feel, the EZONE provides a bit easier power. That said the weight of the EZONE 98 would likely be a bit better. Troy, TW

RF pro staff 90 and 97. Full swing style and back hand like federer. So I need the 12oz RF version since it dampens the vibration right?
@tenniswarehouse5 жыл бұрын
@LIQUID SNAKE, Typically heavier frames will dampen vibrations better, so as long as the RF97 Autograph doesn't feel too hefty, then go for it. Troy, TW

In percentage, what is the difference in power and spin between 16x19 and 18x20 string pattern ?
@tenniswarehouse7 жыл бұрын
@Ashrafee Hossain, It is difficult to quantify the difference in a percentage. The main difference between the string patterns, is the launch angle at which the ball exits the string-bed. Typically, with an open pattern (for example 16x19), the ball will exit the string-bed at a slightly higher angle, for a given stroke. This slightly higher launch angle, combined with a bit more ball-pocketing that the open pattern allows for, results in a bit easier depth. Power is primarily effected by the mass and swingweight of a racquet. Troy, TW

if bigger head size= bigger sweet spot, why wouldnt intermediate or advanced players use it as well? the bigger heads?
@tenniswarehouse5 жыл бұрын
It is somewhat personal preference, and there have been some professionals who use oversize racquets. That said, with a larger headsize racquet, players will often note a lack of precision. Most professionals nowadays, use 95-100 square inch headsizes. Troy, TW
