i have a honda pcx 160, 50cc scooters are really rare in my country. the smallest one is the honda biz 110i (110cc), pretty resemblant to the honda dream C100.

I really want an ADV 350, but can’t in the states… leaning towards the ADV 160.

Adv 160 should be here this year, from what I’ve seen they’re pretty awesome. Probably the best in the sub 200 class

a sixty year old honda cub 50cc with a 4 speed gearbox and auto clutch will have a faster top speed and better mpg than any of the 50cc scooters that are around today

Can you take the Honda Metropolitan 50cc off road onto dirt roads such as dirt/gravel roads? There will also be a number of hills involved in the area called “Brady‘s Run Park” that I will be riding but it is just 3.3 miles from my residence to the entrance of the park. The entrance is asphalt PA Route 51 (.3 miles) w/speed limit 55 mph. Once you enter the park, it’s just beautiful scenery of running creeks and hills that lead up to fruit orchards and along a golf course and the number of softball fields. At the top you have a view of Beaver Valley below including the Ohio river. It’s very beautiful anytime of the year. Park speed limit is between 15 mph and 30 mph. Does Honda make a Metropolitan scooter in a 125 cc or a 150 cc model? Or do you know of any manufacturers who make quality scooters like the Honda Metropolitan scooter with its generous volume of storage that would match my requirements? Thank you kindly for your help and direction.

Honda metropolitan isn’t really meant to be taken off road. It’s a small city bike. Honda only makes the metropolitan with a 50cc engine but they have other scooters that are faster and better suited for what you’re looking for. Check out the new ct125 (trail 125) or Honda adv 150. Both are much better for quick off road adventures.

I dont disagree with your assessment of the market for a 50cc scooter, but I'm wondering, these days, if an electric makes more sense for the person that's shopping for a 50cc scooter. There's even less maintenance, easy to "refuel", although they're a little more expensive...but in general if you're only going a couple of miles it may be a better option, especially not having to deal with a carburetor.

We don’t have many electric scooter options here, but I like them. If you needed something just to get around a small area, like 3-4 miles, even an electric bicycle would be a good option. There are models that can go as fast as 28 mph which is about the speed a 50 cc can achieve maybe a bit slower but you get other benefits, like ability to ride on bike paths, park anywhere etc. I have an ebike and the range is good too, on battery alone its range is up to about 25-30 miles and if I pedal lightly it can get over 50.

I rode a CB125S for 19 years. Not a "scooter" exactly.. 100 mpg at least! My 250 scooters get 60 mpg

Not in New York , even 50 cc you need M license to drive it because in New York it’s depends on speed not on cc I think anything above 25/mh need registration and License
