One tip. Don’t bother going up the Eiffel Tower. You can’t see a thing up there. If you go up the Montparnasse tower. It has the best views of the city that include the Eiffel Tower. If you get a day pass for the water taxi, it’s a great way to spend the day with great views. I also enjoy the buses much more than the metro cause you can see the city. Get a bunch of Euros at home for the best rates.

Ill be returning to paris with my daughter next month for a month. Learning a bit of french is always good i am level A2 in French. French people aren't always the friendliest but i have met nice people who speak English. They like when others attempt to speak French but when people dont try they find it rude. And common courtesy is to always say bonjour before asking questions and entering stores ,if you dont say hello first its likely they won't Assist you 😊

What a wonderful and useful channel! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and advice. Heading to Paris for the first time for a day trip from London early October. Taking the train and hope to see as many sites as possible but mainly just want to see Paris and hopefully can plan a longer trip next time. This trip is really a business trip to the UK but Paris is too close to not try to go there even for just a day.

i visited paris a few years ago on a tight budget (like 30€-50€ a day) so i thought i'd share a few tips ☺️ - if you're european and want to go to paris, consider taking a flix bus. they have stops all over europe and are super cheap (i paid 20€ for germany > paris). - if you're under 26, most museums such as the louvre, museum d'orsay, museum de l'orangerie etc offer free entry. - if you're over 26, a lot of museums are free for everyone on the 1st sunday of every month. - don't go to restaurants near tourist attractions. they're extremely expensive and overpriced. if you go "off the beaten path" you'll find restaurants that are just as good, but much more affordable. - if you want to buy something to drink, stay away from shops, convenience stores and street vendors near tourist attractions. a bottle of water is like 3€ there. instead try to find a regular grocery store.

Ty. I'm going next month from Germany with flixbus. Also another tip i can add is travel overnight if you're going there with a bus that takes over 7 hours. That way you can sleep at night and be there in the morning. I like traveling like that cause saves time and give you more time at your destination.

Beautiful video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

Good grief. If you’re going to visit another country at least learn some basic phrases and some basic manners. It’s Americans who are arrogant enough to not do so who report that Parisians are rude. They are only rude if you are. If you make a valiant attempt, they are very kind.
