Do the glaciers you showed at 4:20 require hiking? I have bad knees, can’t hike much. But I can walk long distances on flat surface
@HudsonAndEmily3 жыл бұрын
Great question!! No, neither requires much hiking. Perito Moreno does have some steps on the path, but it is the easier one to see without a boat tour.

Love the video, trying to figure some plans out you guys were so helpful! I’m curious, what did you do with your bags when you were day hiking or on the park and kayak tour? Did you have an Airbnb where you could keep them for the day?

Did you have to make reservations for the hikes amd kayak? How things went with the pandemic?
@HudsonAndEmily4 жыл бұрын
Hi! This was before the pandemic, so I'm not sure what the reservation system is now, but when we were there the kayak required tour reservations but the hikes didn't!

Great video! Did you take this trip post Covid and if so what was it like to cross the border between Argentina and Chile?
@Coi12212 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video! Is it better to rent a car from start to end or to take buses everywhere? I'm worried that some routes maybe closed due to covid or being there off season (April)
@javiervera70253 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the complete breakdown of your trip... I really appreciate it, now I have a better understanding of what to do..... question, was this trip during covid? id like to go late 2021 but would hate to get there and things be shutdown. .. Thanks ... Javier from Los Angeles
@HudsonAndEmily3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words, and great question! We were there pre-covid but I just checked with the Chile tour company we booked with (ChileTour Patagonia - highly recommend them!!) The FAQ page on their website says that the national parks are currently open and most lodges/camps plan to reopen this November.
