UPDATE: our media pastor tested negative for his test, so he was able to be in the room Sunday morning. I was very thankful for that. My son's quarantine ended Monday (the day before this video posted), and the rest of us were tested Sunday morning. All of our results came back negative, so we were able to come out of quarantine Monday evening. During the entire time, besides my son not being able to smell anything, none of us showed any symptoms of being sick (read: we weren't laying in bed miserable). I was very thankful for that as well. All in all, I feel like we got off easy, compared to some of the stories I've heard.

"God's got your back." "I'm a proud dad." Two phrases that many worship pastors aspire to for their church and teams. Thanks Dave.

All that time being super organized has paid off. Lots of people owe you an apology lol.

Praying y’all stay Covid free. We actually have a Propresenter playlist and planningcenter plan that is “ryland is in quarantine” and my female worship leaders lead. (I watched the ads in full for you)

That's a great idea... that's the definition of planning to be flexible

I had it a few weeks ago. Thankfully I didn't really feel any different than any other time I've been sick. Lack of taste and smell lasted longer but finally came back. Not tasting food is kinda depressing.

So crucial that both our teams and ourselves are flexible so that we can adjust and adapt when things like this arise. Five years ago if something like this had happened I don’t know what would have happened at my church. After having developed multiple individuals to be able to step up and lead and cover positions, when I tested positive two weeks ago, they all jumped up and covered everything for me and did such an amazing job. So glad to hear that you guys didn’t have any symptoms. Our whole family did get hit pretty hard and it wasn’t enjoyable at all but we survived and it helped remind me how thankful I am for my team and their willingness to serve and their flexibility. Thanks for sharing Dave.

Why wear a mask when there's no one else in the building?

I didn't know for certain the building was clear when I first walked in, so I was just being careful. Plus, it was crazy cold outside and wearing the mask actually helps to keep your face warm!
