Let's chit chat all about planner coding! I personally love to use coding in my planner to have a more efficient system even in the simplest way. Planner coding helps take the overwhelm out of long to do lists and more. I am all about that! In this video I will show you how I personally use coding in my planner plus give ideas on other ways you can use coding! I am a long time coder. It has saved me more than once when things got really sticky. Color is top tier, then second tier is either 123 for priority or ABC for identifying a particular process (more for work). What's funny about my coding system is I experience synesthesia and I cannot use some colors for work or others for personal simply because the associations are too strong.

Absolutely Loved the idea of this video as I’m newer to planning and find stricter extremely helpful however I do have severe adhd and got lost multiple times😢 but thankful for the time you took to film it. Would love another video maybe when you have more time to explain it not at 1am when you’re tired and rushed so that it’s all cohesive to what you’re trying to convey. But again, super thankful for the video and your time ❤

I’ll admit I was a little allover the place and my videos are typically more together and better than this, I almost didn’t even post it to be honest. 😂 But, so many people requested for me to do a video about my planner coding. I was really trying to get it done for everyone who asked (and this year has been a doozy for me so it hasn’t been easy making the time to film). So I knew if I didn’t film it at that moment when I had some time, it would not have gotten done this year at all 😂 Hopefully you gained some helpful tips despite it being a little out of sorts. I think the coded inbox will be easier for me to maintain/use consistently compared to GTD inserts from Perfectionism Prints. Have you tried them before? I’m hoping I can have everything in 1 place and code accordingly rather than flipping back and forth between inbox and ‘next’ inserts.
