Thank you! This is our first time doing it and your video really helped... Our row cover is black on both sides so I worry a bit that it could scorch the plants.. It'll be used on mostly peppers and tomatoes tho.

Interesting. No mention of the existing microbial soil structure. This would be protected if you adopted a 'do dig' approach and chose to mulch your rows before covering with plastic. Moving the soil (not dirt) before you plant also exposes more weed seeds to germinate.
