You are the reason why i started playing the didge. Thank you! 🙏

My comfort rhythm has always been "In ta ka In ta ka Un ta ka", I have never even considered using "Ha" and it seems so obvious now. Really helpful video.

A-e-i, A-e-i… or I-o-u, I-o-u … Using vowels makes it natural for including vocals. Nice 👍🏼 video.

Thank you, opening whole new areas to me, have used different syllables with harmonica, but new to didgeridoo. Right now I only have a 48" pvc practice instrument, but have been making a 73" Diamond Willow Didgeridoo that I am getting close to finishing.

Sara Nowacka I’m so happy to hear this from you! I use this rhythm a lot for both meditations (slow) and african dance rhythms (fast).

You play so well and your exercises are so nice, but for some reason I can't get the sound we we we (the gentler part sound). When I try to say we we we, then too much air gets between the lips and the instrument, and the sound stops completely.

Whenever I try and make the -youuuu sound it doesn't work. I can get my basic drone fine but I can't really go anywhere from there. Any tips?
@didgeproject6 жыл бұрын
what is probably happening is that as you move your tongue to create the "you" shape, your lips are also moving and you lose the buzz. Practice making the wee-you sounds with your tongue but not changing your lip buzz at all.

Watched your coaching but imagined I was playing a RAV drum (it's on order). It worked in my mind! What are the RAV playing positions you recommend? I have knees that I love and sitting may be better. Abs/core important? Strike from shoulders, elbow and wrist? Thank you so much. . .I love playing with you!
@didgeproject6 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris! People usually sit on the floor cross legged or on a chair with the instrument on their lap. Also, some people get snare drum stands and put the RAV Drum on there to take the weight off the body.
